Quotation1 Finding The Best Medicine

Tagline

Lago Moliere (He/Him) is a 2018 introduced character. He is the last known son of The Physician and takes after his father's destiny in his generation's rendition of Godfather Death. He is a Classic Year student by the time of the rebel movement and regarding it, he stands on the Rebel side because he believes that no patient should be regarded as more important than the other, and, as a medic, he should always do his best to save his patient despite the reward.

Lago is also the bastard first-born of the Princess belonging to the same story as a result of a short-lived affair and so has royal blood flowing through his veins- despite not having a claim to the throne ashe was concieved out of wedlock. He has little to no information about his biological family and doesn't wish to investigate on either, believing that his story is enough to fulfill his story his way.

Character[]

Personality[]

Lago is a sweet, dependable young man. He tends to put people's needs before his' and as an aspiring doctor, will come to anyone's aid in the blink of an eye.

He is very soft-spoken and seeks to maintain the peace between his rowdy group of friends by looking for compromises and seeking a middle ground. Yet, he is absolutely awful at mediating as his wish to make everyone happy often makes him a pushover, often wishing for the impossible dream of everyone being happy.

Lago's outlook on destiny can come off as nihilist, but, being raised by death themselves, he is just hyper-aware of how each and every thing has and will have an ending. This doesn't stop him from doing his best to make a mark in the world, though, as he believes that life is the best part of existence and it should be enjoyed and taken care of as something precious, often encouraging others to follow their true selves in pursuit of happinesswhilst being mindful of others' well-being.

Despite what he tells others, he often doesn't practice what he preaches when it comes to his personal life and is overly cautious and worrysome. Taking extra precautions to not put himself in harms way, fearing he would invoke destiny's wrath by refusing to accept his destiny despite having signed the storybook.

Hobbies and Interests[]

Botanics: Lago is very interested in plants' anatomy and their use in healing and medicine and has dedicated himself to documenting and researching as much as he can about the topic. He can be often found in the Enchanted Forest dissecting and recording the local flora in his personal binnacle. He is also the proud owner of a small collection of botanical books and illustrations, gifted to him by his godfather over the years.

Drawing and Illustration: As an after-effect of his own botanics hobby, Lago has gotten interested on making his own botanical illustrations. Always equipped with watercolors and a pencil, he spends his time trying to better his abilities at representation.

Bookball: Lago is a member of Ever After High's bookball team as defence. As an attempt to make himself more assertive, he applied in his freshman year and has stayed ever since. His ability to resolve conflict or stand up to others hasn't become any better, but he is fond of the work-out.

He is usually regarded as fairly handsome and, aware of his height and build, Lago calculates his movements as to not bump into anyone. Hidden behind his signature coat, Lago has a sleeve tattoo on his right arm which features feathers, a variety of plants and two snakes intertwining, mimicking the famous staff of Hermes.

  • His faceclaim would be a younger Louis Cordice modifying eye and hair color to amber and white respectively.

Fairytale – Godfather Death

How The Story Goes[]

Main Article: Link

Usually being passed down to random elligible successors, Lago is the first Physician to have been born from the one before him. The last physician, being a Casanova, managed to sire 12 other children from his various adventures. Lago being his thirteenth and last as a product of an affair with the recently cured princess from his story.

Death, being aware of this son and his possible upbringing as an illegitimate child, death took the kid under his wing, promising the princess, who wouldn't be able to give him proper care as a grieving mother, to give him a better life than what he was initially given as a bastard.

How does Lago fit into it?[]

Taken in by Death as his Godson, it was only logical Lago would inherit the role of the Physician in the next rendition of Godfather death. Despite not being able to provide a Happily Ever After for Lago, Death has done their best to give Lago a happy life and raise him in a way he would stray away from the other physician's skewed morals.

Early Life[]

Being raised by Death, Lago has always been keenly aware of his own mortality. Sure, it did help having the literal personification of his own demise looming over him, but, what Lago found the most eye-opening was not the figure charged with his undertaking, but the souls that his godfather took along to be judged by the gods of the underworld.

Death doesn't forgive anyone. Weak or poor, young or old, everyone will have to die one day, there are no exceptions.
Ever since he was a little child, Lago never considered Death as his godfather, but as a parental fiugre despite their often scary, dark appearance. Lago would be forever grateful that this person took him into their family. Even if he would always be a bit scared of Death, they have only shown him kindness.

Lago was raised in Grimm-any and so is well-versed in the language, but he also was taught english and spanish by Death as a ways to be able to take him in the various trips they have to go around for a longer amount of time.

Living in a small cottage along with his adoptive brother, Riven Mortis, Lago's life was made much more peaceful than the other physicians', given more time to play and indulge on his hobbies rather than being thrown into medical studies head-in.
With never-ending kindness, the boy was more prone to getting picked on, but he always had someone having his back, wether it was his family or his own, more outspoken friends.

This didn't mean it was all hearts and roses. Life is always much more than just the happy things, after all.
Even if he wasn't hated by his peers, Lago was often seen as an intimidating figure. After all, who wouldn't be afraid of Death's prodigee? Unfortunately, this would lead him to not be able to make that many friends. Yet, that didn't stop Lago. With a smile on his face and never-ending kindness, he managed to surpass his reputation and gather a small group of friends.

Spellementary & Early Teens[]

As Lago entered spellementary school, Death became busier. Not much was revealed other than they had taken another disciple.

It felt weird at first, being so used to Death's constant attention and care, it wasn't normal for Lago to come home to an empty house after school or to a nanny that he didn't even know much about.
Being honest, it was difficult to adapt to the change, especially the feelings that it caused. He was jealous- I mean, who wouldn't be? Feeling like his parent picked a favorite over him and Riven and that mystery kid. Maybe he wasn't good enough for them?

Lago had never felt this way before, and it was difficult to cope with it, wondering why Death wouldn't take him on their trips anymore.
