Pandora Present, referred to as Pan by the general student body, is a 2017-introduced, 2024-revamped and all-around character. She is the daughter of the Ghost of Christmas Present from the novel A Christmas Carol, written by English author Charles Dickens. She currently attends Ever After High, and rooms with her cousin Audaline Syne. Pan is a diva and a trendsetter, always concerned with popularity. Personality[]
Unlike the Ghost of Christmas Past, who looks into the past; and the Ghost of Christmas Future, who looks into the future, Pandora is all about living in the present - she does live by her catchphrase, “no time like the present”. Panny avoids, at all costs, living in the past or worrying about the future, living every single second of her day as if it was the last. Due to that, the next Ghost of the Christmas appears to be very chill and somewhat ditzy, with her seemingly lack of worry bordering on inconvenient.
However, deep down, Pandora worries greatly about her disappearance once she gets to fulfill her destiny, thus why she considers herself to be a Rebel. To be fair, Panny is terrified of the idea that she might disappear without having lived her life to the fullest. This often leads her to be imprudent and reckless, taking way more risks than she probably should. She longs to feel accomplished and longs for adventure, taking up on everything the world has to offer now because “you can't live in the past and neither know what shall happen tomorrow”, so it's better to enjoy the moment to the fullest. Pandora's irresponsibility impairs her academic life - not because she isn't intelligent (she is actually absurdly smart), but because she is far more worried about doing things other than dedicating time to pursue academic success.
Trendy and modern, Pandora is all about following social media trends and is prone to basing her personality on whatever's trending at the moment. She is very much a hipster who frets about being in the latest/current fashion, whatever is it. Panny is pretty popular on social media and is in the constant pursuit of more followers, living with her Mirror Phone on her hand to livestream everything she sees, take plenty of photos and update her Princetagram stories. If you want to know the latest news about mostly anything, the easiest way is to check Pandora's social media. She takes pride in being nicknamed the “Walking Gazette” of Ever After High by some.
Panny has a keen eye and is very perceptive, noticing everything around her - it's even creepy sometimes. It’s hard to keep a secret from Pandora - she will likely figure things out by herself, purely out of her acute senses and great intuition. It can be annoying how good she is at finding things out, and Pan has the admirable ability of cluing in very quickly. She is a chronic gossiper and is very aware of that, admitting that she has to learn how to keep her mouth shut. Pandora self-describes her lack of control pertaining to gossip as a “lack of filter from her brain to her mouth”, as she tends to say things without thinking beforehand and analyzing the consequences of it. She is trying to get better, though.
Pandora is very self-aware and knows about her weaknesses and problematic personality traits, and wishes to change. She does not worry about what others think of her, however - which can be both good and bad. Panny is overly self-confident, to a point that she might, sometimes, come off as arrogant and snobbish, unintentionally. Her unconscious arrogance can be comedic and funny, though; and she is lucky that most overlook her snooty comments by confusing it with sarcasm and comedy.
Overall, Pandora is a nice company to have around - she is funny and delivers great one liners on a daily basis. She is a very supportive friend and won't hesitate to help, even though she has to do it her way. Pan is an outspoken social butterfly who likes to interact with other people and party hard, and is the kind of person you can invite to do anything - if you want to either bungee jump or go shopping, you know you can call her and she will say yes in a heartbeat. Fearless and determined, Pandora will take risks for you and will be there for her friends always. They know that they can count on her in good and bad times.
Interests and Hobbies[]
Because of her ever changing opinions, Pandora's favored hobbies tend to follow suit. Essentially, whatever's "in" is what's her favorite thing to do. If trendsetting is considered a hobby, than probably that.
Social Media[]
Pandora is very popular on social media and is considered a social influencer. Thanks to her incredible ability of keeping up with the latest trends and such, she knows how to boost her profiles and has a great amount of followers. Panny livestreams on a daily basis, makes tutorials, reaction videos, posts aesthetic photos and is pretty minimalistic on her profiles. Pandora has achieved her goal of being a trendsetter and affectionately calls her fans the “P-Hive”, with her being their “Queen Bee”.
Memes[]
Panny lives by the memes, and will quote and reference them many times on a daily basis. She claims that, if she writes an autobiography one day, it shall be made entirely of memes. Being on group chats with her consists of receiving way too many memes and stickers.
Parties[]
Pandora is a party hard girl and will compete with Briar Beauty to see who throws the best parties. Her parties are very modern and trendy and are almost always livestreamed.
Appearance[]
Pandora is as ethereal as you would expect a Ghost to be. She is rather tall and slender, with very pale skin and light freckles dotting her cheeks and nose. She sports long, wavy dark brown hair, which is always in different hairdos thanks to the many hair tutorials she records to post on Fairytube everyday. Pandora's eyes are striking, bright green in colour, and she has a beauty mark on her chin.
Pandora's outfits follow suit of whatever fashion style is trending at the moment, with white, shades of green and dusty rose being her trademark colours.

How Pandora Fits Into It[]
In the story, the Ghost of Christmas Present disappears after Scrooge encounters him, his nature of presiding over the current Christmas making it so he can only exist during the present, and after that Christmas is over he will disappear. However, he does not simply disappear into nonexistence, rather, he can no longer enter the human realm, because he is now permanently tied to the Ghost Dimension, while most other ghosts retain the ability to cross over. After each Present Ghost completes their destiny, they lose that ability. After the previous Present Ghost, Pandora's father completed his destiny, this fate took a hold, and he can no longer cross over as he once could. Pandora was conceived in the Ghost Realm, but like most other ghosts has the ability to cross over, which is how she attends Ever After High. Previously, she attended Haunted High, a school for ghosts in the Ghost Dimension.

Pandora doesn't like the idea of losing touch with the human world, as she has made far too many friends and started plenty of trends, so she is a Rebel when it comes to her destiny. However, she publicly identifies as a Royal, afraid of being shunned by the popular crowd.

Panny has a pretty good and healthy relationship with her father, but both are very different in personality - something that can lead to a conflict or another. He is a little skeptical of Pandora being a Rebel and not wanting to follow her destiny, but understands her and supports her, nonetheless.

Mother[]
Unlike her father, Pandora's mother is not present. She remembers asking her father about her as a little girl but never got any substantial information from him. As she grew older, Pandora accepted that whoever her mother is, she is a remnant of the past and chooses not to dwell on it, but that doesn't mean she isn't still curious every now and then.
From the little hints her father seldom told her Pandora knows that she's "not from here" and "not like us". Very true, as she, currently unknown to Pandora, was a human that hails neither from the Ghost Dimension nor Ever After, but from a world where fairytales are just stories and "normies" coexist with monsters. How a "solid" accessed the Ghost Dimension is not currently known, but from how Pandora's father talks about her, it's clear it's not a fairytale with a happy ending.

Audaline Syne-Holliday[]
One of Pandora's best friends is her cousin, the next Ghost of Christmas Past, Audaline. Though the two appear incompatible, with Pandora being a modern trendsetter and Audaline more into retro, they get along royally, as friends, cousins, and roommates. And of course, Pandora knows who to consult whenever vintage makes a comeback. Presently, Pandora is showing Audaline the uses of Princetegram, and trying very hard not to laugh at her cousin's hilarious misuse of spellfies.

Destiny Claus[]
Pandora is good friends with Destiny, and they obviously bonded over their Christmas-related tales. She can be a little skeptical of Destiny's traditionalism, but nevertheless really likes her and enjoys her company. Pan is overly self-confident and Destiny is way too insecure, so the Ghost of Christmas Present tries her best to help the future Santa to boost her confidence. This can, however, cause small conflicts between them; nothing too important, though.
Briar Beauty[]
Briar and Pandora have a friendly banter and are always on silly competitions to see who throws the best parties. They identify as "frenemies" for attracting-new-followers purposes, but truthfully are friends. They really understand each other: Briar doesn't want to sleep for a hundred years and being prevented from living good moments with her friends; and Pandora doesn't want to disappear for the same reason. Panny harbored a small crush on Briar before finding out that the latter is probably into Hopper Croakington, and honestly, still gets flustered when she is around, sometimes. She would never let Briar know, though.
Pet[]
Panny wanted a pet as trendy and cool as herself, so she got two: Diva, a pink axolotl; and Godzilla, a bearded dragon. They are small, so Pandora can take them around with her and they can be seen hanging on her shoulders or comfortably accommodated inside her Gucci bag - which she bought for them. Diva and Godzilla have their own profiles on Princetagram and have a lot of followers, with Pandora dressing them up with fashionably adorable clothes.

Trivia[]
- Calls everybody "darling" and "girl", even if she does not like you or if you are not a girl.
- Uses words like literally, totally, and like very frequently. It's sometimes annoying.
- Pandora never, never sleeps before midnight; it doesn't matter how early she has to wake up on the next day.
